Where did all the money go? They only post 5-10 articles a day, so you would think they only have a staff of 20 maybe? Is bandwidth that expensive?

Nice Catch...Brian, Now, I wonder just how a site like FR can do what we do on just our OWN DIMES?>>> No other support than our own pockets. Salon sells advertising to their limp wristed liberal site and can't make a $$$. I wonder how many $$$ we could get IF we decided to do it...??? (I know we can't and won't...JRob..!)

Their money went to do the bidding of Clinton. As everyone who supports him eventually finds out, he ain't your brother, he's heavy.

Where did all the money go?Prescriptions for paranoid schizophrenics costs a lot, you know.
To: Brian Mosely
Almost
80 million dollars in the hole?
Great day in the morning, how could they have spent that much, or who would be giving them enough credit to allow them to get that far into debt.
To: Brian Mosely

Why? It seems their stock price has finally stabilized.
I think of all the Salon freelancers who took stock options in lieu of pay.

"accumulated debt of $76 million"
I wonder what their expenses were to accumulate such a huge debt in so short a time. Isn't it just an on-line magazine?

"Where did all the money go?"
My question exactly. Free Republic probably uses as much or more bandwidth as Salon; Free Republic is struggling, but is trying to raise 70 thousand, not 70 million.

Schadenfreude
I am assumoing this is a German word, and for a time my ancestors were responsible for some of the greatest philosophical insights (except Hegel and the Romantics) and physics ( most sciences). Sadly for the Germans, and fortunately for the US, some of these great minds came to the USA allowing us the hedgemony we enjoy today.
That is when our immigration polcies were really great and before the Islamicist infestation.
