Nation of Islam leader offers to mediate between Israel and Palestinian militants

DOHA, Qatar, Jun 25, 2002 (AP WorldStream via COMTEX) -- Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan on Tuesday said the new U.S. policy statement on Mideast peace has wasted a great chance to offer hope to the Palestinians.

Farrakhan, an American, told reporters that Monday's speech by U.S. President George W. Bush had sought too many concessions from the Palestinians, which would lead to more frustration and suicide attacks against Israelis.

Bush on Monday became the first American president to endorse Palestinian statehood. But he also set strict terms for such a move, including the election of new leaders "not compromised by terror" and completing political and economic reform.

Farrakhan, whose militant views on American race relations and Jews render him a source of concern to U.S. authorities, offered to mediate between the Palestinian militant group Hamas and Israel.

He asked the Israeli government to let him enter Israel to persuade militant group leaders to end to suicide operations. In 19 months of Mideast violence, 71 suicide bombing incidents have killed 250 Israelis and been condemned by U.S. and other world officials.

Farrakhan said religious leaders cannot stop the suicide bombings because they happen as a result of Palestinian despair and loss of hope through living under Israeli occupation.

The conditions under which Palestinians live should be condemned, he said during a press conference in Doha, the Qatari capital.

Farrakhan, who met earlier with Qatari Emir Sheik Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, is expected to meet with officials in Yemen on Wednesday as part of a Mideast tour.

Israel should let Farrakhan in and then get rid of him and Arafat. They'd be doing the world a BIG favor.

Louis Farrakhan? I thought he died five times ago? I have a better idea for Louis Farrakhan, but I can't say it here.

For a number of years, Farrakhan has managed to present himself as a champion for the oppressed masses, this also is a distortion. Like his teacher, Farrakhan has for more than 35 years engaged in hoodwinking blacks out of money in the name of black self improvement. The only self-improvement however, that has taken place has been for Farrakhan's family and their associates.

Additionally, his entire inspiration for the "Million Man March" is based on his alleged, "vision of being swept into a UFO that took him to a larger mothership." While in the UFO, he claims to have spoken to the late Elijah Muhammad before being beamed back to earth. (The Washington Post, Sept. 18, 1995, p. D3).

What many do not realize, is that Farrakhan has repeated this doctrine for more than 35 years! Indeed, Farrakhan's UFO "vision" is an inseparable, doctrinal link to the heretical claims of Elijah Muhammad. Elijah explained that blacks were originally, "moon people" and that the UFO "mother wheel" was piloted by 13 youths who perpetually orbited the earth, waiting to unleash global destruction on whites, while rescuing all blacks. Farrakhan to this day, teaches this same doctrine- his inspiration for the Million Man March. The Million Man March in fact, was planned with the following goals in mind:Malcolm X exposed

The bigoted black-Nazi that called Judism a "Gutter Religion" thinks he is going to be accepted as a mediator by the Isrealis?

Right.

Oh goody. Let's team him up with Jimmy Carter on a middle-east peace endeavor. Farrakhan will kill Carter after one week together, and then he'll be arrested on murder charges. We shall, of course, miss them both.
