Fullerton has a little Mexican ghetto east of Euclid and south of Malvern/Chapman.
Sounds like this neighborhood based on what's happening in the story.

If she is from that area, I would be more amazed if the 21 year old doesn't also have 4-5 kids already as well!

There are nice areas of Fullerton that are in the upper 7% of the United States. Some children there have killed a few neighboors and burried them in Buena Park a few years back.

Don’t want to leave the impression that only SOME of the city has ALL the crazy people.
