Victims of Terror, Israel's Enormous Toll

I didn't post the article. What is interesting is the prominence they've given it on their website. Main page, front and center. Trying to prove to the Israeli's that they "care" after Israel threatened to drop them from their satellite. It's actually promoting Wolf Blitzer's 5 part special that they're airing beginning tonight about Israeli victims.

I watched a recent broadcast by Christiane Amanpour from Israel with considerable amazement because of the obvious concern and dismay that she projected over the incident on the soldiers firing on Palestinians who thought the cerfew was lifted, and I couldn't help wondering: What ever happened to journalistic objectivity? Never mind the pro-Palestinian bias of CNN, that is a given, but how about simple professionalism? Journalist are not supposed to be so obviously simpathetic with their subjects.

On the weekend, I read a report that CNN was doing a 5 part series on the victims of terror in Israel.

CNN's trying to play catch up with Fox, and it's soooo hypocritical, IMHO.

Instead of just admitting they are biased in favor of Palestinians, they now seem to be saying, "Look at us, we're not biased, see, see, we've got this 5 part special."

Seems so childish in a way, and so transparent.

Exactly, my friend. But the people of Israel aren't fool by Al Jazera TV of Atlanta.
