This is going to be one bad summer. California is going to make Colorado and Arizona look like kid's play when it is over. I pray for the folks out there in Arizona right now, and fear when it is our turn.
Right now in LA for example, we are about to end the rain season 10% below the all time record for rain totals. That is staggering. 10% below normal... so what.. 10% lower than ever, when you think about it over 150 year cycle is mathematically shocking.
President Bush might need to get pro-active federally and declare the west a disaster zone before hand, and get federal funds, fire equipment, etc moved out before things get worse. They will get worse.

This is going to be one bad summer.If the enviorwackos would let the lumber industry go it and thin out the trees and clear dead trees these fires would not be nearly so hot and uncontrollable.
