When I was a teenager, my father gave me THE TRUE BELIEVER to read. It made a profound inpact on me. This article was written in 1968, but it could have been written today.

I always liked Dennis Prager. Larry Elder too.

Amen. It seems that the older I get the more I keep seeing the same thing over and over again.

I majored in poly sci with a minor in military sci at USC in the 60`s. Hoffers book was required reading in almost all of my classes and left a lasting imprint on my thinking. The older I get, the more sense Hoffer makes. Sadly, I didn`t keep a copy and now, I can`t find one. Help freepers, where can I get a copy? All of the "Israel is always right" bunch should not ever read this common sense book, it blows their fanatical support of Israel sky high which will mess up their day.

I don't believe that Israel is always right, but I do believe God's promise that He will judge every nation according to how they judge Israel. That promise, given to Abraham and Isaac, now extends to Christians. So Israel is also judged for how they judges Christians. The soap opera continues.
