Supreme Court orders release of extreme right activist Federman
The Supreme Court on Friday ordered police to release of extreme right-wing activist Noam Federman from arrest Friday noon. Federman is accused of allegedly supplying weapons to the Jewish terror cell that planned to blow up a hospital in East Jerusalem.
In his ruling, Supreme Court Justice Yaakov Tirkel wrote that unlike the other members of the terrorist cell, who are accused of attempted murder, Federman is accused of relatively light offenses, and poses no threat to the public. He ordered that that Federman be removed into house arrest.
Tirkel criticized the police and the Attorney-General's Office for linking Federman's actions to the terrorist cell, and said they did not present sufficient evidence for their claims.
Federman's wife, Elisheva, referred to Tirkel's ruling, saying "now everybody understands that my husband's arrest was another of the Shin Bet security services' tricks."
OH! excuse please . . . Federman is "extreme right", not terrorist . . . revolving doors are ok for "extreme right", right?
psst! where's roni hanging these days - dark barns, caves or belfries?
Sure. Just look at him . . . looks like "Newman" of the old Seinfeld show . . . no terrorist here . ..

From Jerusalem Post May 14, 2002
. .. Federman was a leader of the extreme right-wing Kach movement until it was outlawed by the government.
. . . In July 2001, a van belonging to Federman and his wife Elisheva exploded as it was parked in Kiryat Arba outside Hebron.
Despite Federman's denials that he had no knowledge of the grenades and bullets discovered in the back of his van, police did not agree.
"We have almost completely ruled out that the explosions were a result of terrorists' actions. Investigators believe that the bullets and smoke grenades discovered in the vehicle belong to Federman despite his denials," said Rafi Yafe, spokesman for the Judea and Samaria police. . .
Yes I noticed that smoke bombs and bullets just sort of go off by themselves. Put a few guns in the back of the van stop for a spot of tea and the damn ordinance goes off by itsself.
Right.
Anyone who would beleive that a guy drove his own car to a public place, parked it and less than deadly ordinance just went off on its own would believe anything.
I don' know this guy at all. He could be terrible he could be a saint. But I do know what a Cop setup is like. I have been in on the investigation of several cop setups. This sounds like a cop setup to me. It appears judges who do know the guy, think it is a cop setup too.
Oh come on!!!! After gigabytes of bandwidth wasted on the ugly face of Arafat you begrudge a little fun with fat Federman? Phuleeeze!
You're saying the cops blew up Fedrman's van . . . the cops (ISRAELI)are TERRORISTS?
ok . . .
Here's a nicer picture of the terrorist far right extremeist . . .

I am a dashingly handsome 57 year old husband(of one) father,(of five) grandfather(of six) AND . . . great grandfather(of one) with thin, distinguished gray hair. I am 5'11" and 198 lbs. . . . straight teeth. I have at times been told that I look either like Steve Martin or (after a few adult beverages) Arlo Guthrie. I imagine myself looking either like Mel Gibson or at times like Groucho Marx.
Women and children and little dogs follow me around. Cats run away.
Or maybe a nice Jewish boy from New York who's sick of taking crap from the Palestinians.
Maybe the Palestinians did it and made it look like the Israeli cops did it.

Jewish terror suspect Federman remains in custody
Despite a Supreme Court ruling to the contrary, Noam Federman, charged with supplying weapons for a terror attack on Palestinians, is to remain in custody pending a decision as to where else he can be watched, media reports said.
Jerusalem District Court judges, ruling today on the higher court decision, ordered Federman's lawyer to propose an alternative place where the suspect could be held.
Federman, a member of the outlawed Kach organization, was recently charged with helping to arm a group that planned to set off a bomb outside a Palestinian school and hospital in east Jerusalem. The attack was thwarted by police.
