President Bush headed to Florida today to attend a fundraiser for his brother, Gov. Jeb Bush. While in Florida, Bush visited Marks Street Senior Center in Orlando, and spoke once again about physical fitness and addressed the homicide bombings in Israel. The President also attended a senior fitness class while at the Marks Street Center. Enjoy your daily dose of Dubya!

I want to make sure you know how much I value your work. I know how it is to run a daily thread...I ran the USA vs. Cinton thread for almost a year (which became the America the Right Way thread).
I think you don't realize how much these pictures mean to people. I have a friend who is reluctant to register. She checks this thread every single day to see what's going on, because she doesn't have cable. This thread encourages her and gives her talking points for the people at her work.
So, thank you, Republican Warrior Princess. You are a true treasure. I hope that the President knows how loyal and dedicated you are. I sure do!

Good evening, HSM! How are you doing? Nice to see you and everyone here. I don't have as much time at night to post any more. (Compete with hubby for the puter).....but I try to read each thread when I can.
Another day to be thankful for Free Republic, for our President, and for all of you dear friends.

Fabulous!! Oh boy, both the Bush guys! Yahooooo

Well, between end-of-school stuff and moving, I haven't had the luxury of parking myself in front of the 'puter for extended periods of time. I was lurking, just not posting.

How long have you played the guitar? My husband use to play one. He had an electric Fender but it was stolen when we had a robbery at this house while we were moving in. He has not played in years. Our grandson had a friend who loaned him his so he is trying to learn to play that along with all the other instruments that he plays. I found it too hard on the fingers to play one!!!!! MamaB

Totally agree. rintense deserves a Presidential Medal - as do you, Miss Marple, for your valiant and important comments on the bush bashing threads.
I marvel at your strength and wisdom.
No President is perfect. And this President is dealing with deadly enemies every day - both within and without this nation.
He displays such grace, such strength, and such cheerfulness - I know purposefully to give all Americans courage and determination and hope.
Your comments on all these threads do the same. So, thank you, too!

Dittos to everything Miss Marple said. Thanks for the MAH-VU-LUSCIOUS pics tonight, and great big hugs back at ya!

I'll bet Dubya and Jeb were the only two guys in Florida today in dark suits and neckties. How many solid dark blue suits does the Prez have, anyway?
Believe me, I'm no fashion consultant. And I'm not advocating that he wear a Hawaiian shirt and flip-flops, as Clinton might have done. But a dark suit in Florida on the first day of summer seems a bit silly.
Well, if this is all I've got to complain about, I guess he's doing well. And he is, as far as I'm concerned.

I second that MissMarple, RWP's thread is what made me want to discontinue lurking and become a member here on FR. The effort RWP puts into this is nothing short of amazing and the 9/11 Heroes tribute is a masterpiece. As I have said many times... RINTENSE YOU ARE A GREAT AMERICAN<

There are some very embittered people on FR these days. Maybe we should all add them to our prayer lists ...... they certainly need help. This is one of the reasons I check FR articles but not always the posts (the Dose being an exception, of course). The negativity of some of the posters make me believe that they are "infiltrators" trying to turn the Base against Bush. It's also one of the reasons I stopped listening to Rush. If I want to hear Bush bashing I'll watch the mainstream news.

I agree with you. When I first saw the folded arms and that look--yep, he probably is wandering why in the H*** is this guy here. Wow, maybe by the end of the visit the guy is left smiling. You know, GWB has that ability with people.

I have an interesting thought. (At least I think it is interesting...LOL!)
Those who have pesimistic natures, those who are control freaks, those who are obsessed with their own candidates, are incabable of supporting the President.
Because we are at war, they feel it necessary to justify their Bush antipathy.
Therefore, they spend a lot of time building a case against the President based on nit-picking charges, just to prove that they didn't make a mistake.

Thanks.
I have always liked your screen name
It just proves it's possible.....
To: Dawgsquat
Your screen name is appropriate
To: Dawgsquat
You enthusiasm is a little bit too much for this thread. Why don't you try to find a thread where your slavish devotion would be more appropriate?
To: MJY1288
I too have noticed a pattern with these whining weasels. They will get you on a certain topic and will load you up with references and posts. As if the shear multiplication of words would win their hearings and get me over to their bashing. Yet, after a certain time they either vanish and never make contact with you--either they got bored or went off to do other things. Or perhaps, I am the boring one.
