GW's all politics all the time, which is fine if we can take back the senate and actually pass some legislation.

"The president, told by a reporter that his White House team has far outpaced Bill Clinton in the money chase, replied: "Thank you. I appreciate that compliment." I am LOL ;^D

I seem to recall reading he has not done near as many political appearances as Clinton did and still is raising a lot more than he did. I could be wrong though.

The thing about Bush that's making the Dems look really stupid is that almost all of this is hard money. The whole campaign finance reform bill will kill them if it isnt overturned. They cant possibly keep up with Bush. If the rules were in effect now, even if Bush stopped campaigning, they would still never raise enough hard money to catch with him this election cycle. 2004 should be painful them.

"From the $100 million man comes the $150,000 workout," McAuliffe said. "Today, President Bush flew 800 miles, to raise (more than) $2 million, and expects the taxpayers to pick up the $150,000 tab because he watched an eight-minute workout." Of all the despicable people in politics I think MacAuliffe ranks fourth, but it is damned close:
Bill, Hill, Carville and macAullif
How much did that haircut on the tarmac in Los Angeles cost?
How many 'little people' were delayed and held up will Sir Bill got his hair cut?
MacAuliffe can shove it.

REPUBLICAN
CA$H!
I gave $25 the night of the $30 Million Fundraiser. All I could afford, but I'm glad to do it.

And they said Bubba was a great fundraiser (only for him and his wife). People give money for a good cause, the conservative movement.
The democrats have forgotten what the nation's core values are because they have pandered to special interests for so long. I'd just as soon have the independent party become 2nd and the dem party become third or practically obsolete as the dem congresscritters continue to spike necessary measures designed to help America! The Senate continues to disappoint. The dems need to be replaced by competent Republican candidates who are on the same page with Americans.

Thanks for the flag to this thread, kayak. I get the impression a lot of people are more than happy to donate to Gov. Bush's campaign because they very much like the thought of backing a WINNER. In the same breath, I think the FL Dems are having a lot of trouble because many already perceive them as the LOSERS. Winners win; losers lose. Oh well!
