TO: Jim Robinson and all freepers. I never thought a website could be so informative and entertaining that I would visit it almost daily for more than two years. The FreeRepublic is great. FR truly rocks.

In a sense, a number of deappropriations concerning submodern discourse exists on FreeRepublic. Registered's critique of precultural construction suggests that society, perhaps surprisingly, has objective value. But an abundance of situationisms concerning the role of funny graphics as participant may be revealed. The premise of socialism states that the purpose of the observer is social comment, but only if precultural construction is valid.

It could be said that the subject is contextualised into a textual paradigm of reality that includes consciousness as a reality. If FreeRepublic's compliment weekend camp holds, we have to choose between socialism and precultural deconstruction.

I'd like to compliment the Democratic Underground for making the Free Republic look so good.

For a while there the FR was developing a reputation for being the last bastion of right-wing fringers (bear with me, please) but if you go visit the DU nowadays we look like a bunch of well-reasoned statemen and women. I know we haven't changed a bit so we must thank them for turning into a bunch of raving nutters and thereby making us look good.

I agree that they've always been crazy but lately...but, hoo-boy, now they're truly certifiable. And we owe them a compliment and our thanks for that.

On a side note, if JimRob really wanted to rake in the bucks, he'd make up a bunch of "Free Johnny Lindh Walker" t-shirts and peddle them to the DUmmies. Not only would FR profit from the transaction but the DU'ers would be tarred and feathered the first time they proudly wore their new shirts in public.

Hmmm, perhaps I should change my screen name to "Subversive Conservative"...

Hello FRiends!

I appreciate all the FRiends I have found here, the good political discussion and debate that can be found here, the good talk and cheer almost always found in the Hobbit Hole, to the Robinsons for allowing it to go on! and the Moderators for trying to ensure that we play nice! Pints for everybody!

Thanks to EggsAckley for letting me know that it's OK to be a conservative and suffer from chronic depression. And also for introducing me to the online diary site she uses, which I now have over 60 entries on in only four weeks. She's going through a tough time right now, I won't say why, out of respect for her privacy.

And thanks to all who tolerate the fact that I mostly just make ironic jokes, arcane references, puns, and bash the prominent Democratic 'leadership'. I am so proud of some of my jokes, and I love reading the first reply of someone who 'gets it'. For example, there was an article about North Korean No-Dong missiles, and I joked that the guidance system runs on eunuchs. Nobody seemed to get the joke. Too subtle? Or not funny? Hint: it works on two levels.

Anyway, thanks to the resident humorists and super-posters who give me something to laugh at, or to read late at night.

And not to be sappy, but thank you, U.S. military. You are putting your lives on the line for the freedom I enjoy. No thanks will ever be enough. I just hope to be worthy of your sacrifice.
