Here is a compliment: chookter is A-OK.

We met this morning and shot the "Second Freeper Postal Match" at my local rifle range. Not only is he a good shot (better than me!), but he is an all around nice guy.

I can only think of a couple of threads that we have "sparred" on in the past, and the result of one of them was the fact that he coined the term "talibornagain" to describe me (I wonder if he remembered that? He didn't seem to let on this morning!). As a result, things got a bit heated in our online exchanges.

However, like every other Freeper that I have met in person, he is a really great guy, and the type of fellow that you would want to "watch your six" if things got hairy.

I'd just like to say this. It's a tough job, scouring the net for the all-important satire articles to bring back to FR so posters can have some enjoyment. It's a thankless job, but what keeps me going is this: Who would do it if Sir Gawain didn't? Who would spend hours, nay, days searching the net for articles that will bring a moment of sunshine into these dreary freepers' lives? Ok, Texaggie probably would, but that's beside the point.

Thanks Tonk!!! I must share this with you and all. The other day I stopped into Home Depot to get more flowers, etc and see my girlfriend. As I entered the building in my whites (uniform) no less, a woman stopped me and said " Ma'am, you look very outstanding in that uniform. She then proceeded to shake my hand and say "thank for all you do." Gosh, I had the goosebumps.

Been busy even though kids gone. Forgive me for not replying alot. I do check daily. Right now we are gtting lotsssssssssss of rain here in Jax. Fl.
