I don't disagree but the main problem here is the administrators, like Principal Samarge, who are pushing this PC crap for ideological reasons. A lot of these folks are childless, products of Education Programs, which is hyper PC (and less rigorous) when compared to other academic disciplines.

"I wonder if our new "victim status" qualifies us for some $$ to make us feel better about ourselves?"

Let's call the law firm of: "Dewey, Cheatem, and How", and thier new addition Mo Money...

I wonder about that. There are certainly enough parents that would complain to a school administration if they kid came home with a skinned knee or complaining that they never win a tag game.

When tag is outlawed, only outlaws will play tag.

And what happens to their fragile self esteem when they don't get the job they applied for later in life?Simple. They go to the EEOC, which forces some company to hire them, then they take up space somewhere, and being incompetent, create more work for those around them. Sure, that's not fair to the compentent workers, but fairness is not really part of the liberal game plan. Who cares if you burden the productive members of society and destroy innocent lives and an entire economy with social engineering as long as you can feel good about yourself?

Parents have always been like that, at least to some extent. The big change in the last few decades is that the overprotective parent (once dismissed by society as the creator of "mama's boys") is now being reinforced and legitimized by PC administrators. In any case, the principal in this case apparently did not enact the ban because of parental complaints but for her own ideological reasons and because some children allegedly complained.

I figured it out. Just take a look at her, she was probably one of those people who was always tagged!! Btw, I never knew there were winners and losers in the game of tag. Just because you are tagged doesn't mean you are a loser. Strange.

She's also going to ban marbles. It lowers the self-esteem of the students who, like her, have lost theirs.

If I've said it once, I've said it a thousand times: ANYONE WHO SENDS THEIR KIDS TO PUBLIC SCHOOL SHOULD BE ARRESTED FOR CHILD ABUSE.

"The principal said children playing tag suffered both physical and emotional injuries".LOL, I'm not surprised about this, after all this is Liberal Santa Monica Calif.,which is nearly as Left as West Hollywood is,which is only a few miles away. It's a Liberal Haven (insert Throw-up sounds here). When they say the Left Coast, this is often the place of which people refer.
