NABLUS, West Bank (AP) -- Israelis from the West Bank settlement of Itamar returning from funerals killed a Palestinian on Friday during a rampage in the village of Hawara, shooting randomly in the streets and burning cars and a home, Palestinian villagers and a hospital official said.
Israeli police said they knew of a wounded Palestinian in the area and were checking the circumstances and reports of a settler rampage. Itamar settlers could not immediately be reached to comment on the report.
The Jewish settlers attacked the village a day after Palestinian infiltrators entered a home in the settlement, killing a mother, her three children and a security guard. The villagers said the settlers were returning from the funerals in a cemetery just outside the settlement.
Ohsam Johari, director of the government hospital in Nablus, said Adnan Odeh, 22, was shot in the chest.
Villagers said Odeh was standing at the entrance to his house when the settlers began shooting randomly. They said the settlers burned three cars and one house.

I guess the pals don't like it when they get a taste of their own medicine.

Sad...random and deliberate killings of civilians on either side is horrible...the difference is, it's out of character for the Israelis.

Looks like the Israeli citizens are going to take it into their own hands since their politicians can't stop the terrorists.
To: ellery
It's no coincidence that the alleged victim is a 22-year-old male.

Agreed, it is out of Character.
But understandable after burying a mother and three of her children who had been murdered by Palestinian infiltrators.

Just read another story in the Washington Post about an IDF tank mistakenly firing into a crowd of curfew breakers and killing three Palestinian children. Very unfortunate, as it only strengthens the moral equivocators on the Arab side. Then again, the Palestinians have militarized their own people, including their children, so why should they complain when three more martyrs have just been sent to paradise.

This is part of the intended result. Escalation of images of Jews killing Pallies for CNN.
Makes it easier to play the moral equivalence game, and to call for the Blue Helmets.
The Israelis need to level a large Pallie town as an example.
To: Clive
The Arabs have driven them crazy.
To: Clive
Can you blame them?
To: Clive
It was only a matter of time. Very sad.

The big difference is the settlers will be prosecuted by Isreal while the Palies will be elevated to hero status by the Islamics.

The Jewish settlers attacked the village a day after Palestinian infiltrators entered a home in the settlement, killing a mother, her three children and a security guard. The villagers ("palestinians") said the settlers were returning from the funerals in a cemetery just outside the settlement.
Gee, could this be another "Jenin Massacre?"
The entire report is based on the word of the ever-so-trustworthy "palestinians." All we know for sure is that one of them was wounded. Far more likely that he shot himself in a work-related accident than that he was harmed by settlers.
If it turns out the settlers went after the People of the Big Bloody Lie, who could blame them? As it is, though, I'll need to see Israeli confirmation before I buy any "palestinain" swill.

Agreed. I checked both the Jerusalem Post and Ha'aretz and no article appeared to confirm this item, so there is a good possibility that the report is disinformation.
Both Jerusalem Post and Ha'aretz have not been reluctant in the past to post stories such as this.
