NEW YORK (CNN) -- Former President Bill Clinton said Thursday he supports steps President Bush is taking in the Middle East.
"It sounds to me like the administration is moving in the right direction now," Clinton told reporters as he ended a visit to a high school in the Bronx. He applauded the recent decision to send Secretary of State Colin Powell to the region, saying, "I think the more America is there, even if we don't make something really good happen, fewer bad things will happen."

Oh, thank gawd he approves. Now what does Carter think? Unless this includes some sort of Habitat For Arafat plan, he may be reticent. And will Gerald Ford write a New York Times opinion piece showing his support of this peace plan along with his obligatory pro-choice stance on abortion?? No matter, let us all hold our water until Geraldine Ferraro opines.

This gives more credence to the original Bush stance of letting the Palis and Isreaelis work out their own problems. Since out involvement, the attacks have become worse and more frequent.

I'm so happy Clinton approves. Now I feel confident it must be a good plan.We can all sleep better at night. Bill left the country in such good shape and the world at peace, any opinion voiced by him will bring comfort to so many--idiots!

For anybody who doesn't believe that Bush hasn't morphed into Clinton, here is the proof.

As far as I can tell, what Bush is offering to the Palestinians is just a fancier version of the Clinton plan. Of course he'd be pleased.

"I think the more America is there, even if we don't make something really good happen, fewer bad things will happen." Clinton should have gone back into the high school and gotten one of the students to speak for him. This sounds like a gradeschooler speaking.
Somebody please explain to me why so many people insist that Clinton is "smart". Is this really what passes for "analysis" these days?

Consider the source. Frankly I'd put more credence in The Weekly World News than Crescent News Network.

Who really gives a good rat's ass what that pathetic piece of humanoid debris thinks, feels or opines?

"Former President Bill Clinton said Thursday he supports steps President Bush is taking in the Middle East." So, I guess this means Clinton thinks Isreal has a right to defend itself and retake territory as an "incentive" for the Palestinians to end the terror attacks.
To: Phlap
Oh, swell. So, now the U.S. is sponsoring a "Palestinian State" that will ultimately be a terrorist state, while waging a war on State sponsored Terrorism. It just boggles the mind!

That's some proof ya got there. < /sarcasm>

Rush Limbaugh is the only one that can take Bill Clinton out of the limelight. So until Rush does what needs to be done, we will be forced to have this idiot's opinions shoved at us as if the guy was still president.

"Only the Clinton News Network would print this bilge."Not a whole lot of substance there, huh? Much like his presidency. What a small, irrelevant man. I will never forgive the pressholes for foisting him and his grifting wife on us...

Who gives a horses petutie what this despotic gieser of
meisms thinks? In the face of his horrendous failure as a President and defender of our Country he should just shut the he$$ up, but he won't, he can't. His need to be heard and seen won't let him.
