We Israelis are simply too conflicted. We wake up in the morning, and we have to deal with our health system, with unemployment, with caring for our elderly and crippled and deaf. We have to find funding for abused children, and deal with our educational system. We have to worry about our economy, and try to encourage tourism. We worry about appearing well on CNN and BBC, and we worry, sincerely, about hurting innocent people, or even saying untrue or unkind things about the Muslims that live within our borders.

But our enemies have no such conflicts. They don’t think about how to feed their people, or get them jobs. They couldn’t care less about educating their children to live productive lives, or finding shelters for their abused women (since 99% are abused, there is no point).

No, all the our enemies do all day, every day, is figure out how to kill. They work on better bombs. On convincing the gullible to carry them. On transferring funds from Iran and Europe to buy the materials, and securing fax numbers to disseminate the latest baby-killing plan to their numerous cells in Gaza and the West Bank.

They don’t worry about bad press. Why should they? They can and have done anything, crossed every red line, broken every rule of civilized behavior without consequence: they’ve used Red Cross ambulances to ferry suicide bombers and grenades, blown up babies in their carriages, have snipers target the foreheads of 10 month olds in their mothers' arms, blown up schoolbusses, pizza parlors, hotels full of elderly survivors about to celebrate Passover….

Why should they worry? They have their PR plan in place: Saeb Erekat will simply repeat that they are not responsible. They don’t have the weapons, the manpower, the you-name it, and CNN and Sky and the BBC will broadcast it like it's news, instead of outdated propaganda. They will broadcast it without questioning a word, as if the PLO didn’t use the arms Israel gave them for terrorist attacks, as if they were never aware of the Karin A, as if they never saw the documents with Arafat’s signature authorizing suicide bomber payments.

So, with no concern for their people’s health care, or education or their economy; with no conscience, no morals, no pressure from a so-called civilized world or an inquiring and independent press, they have the luxury of single-mindedness. All day, every day they are Murder, Inc. supported by the world press, financed by the Saudis and Iranians and Iraqis, who also have nothing better to do with their time. And each day we see the results. More dead. More nails per lung and heart and skull.

More success breeds more money. After all, that’s the business they are in. A bloodless day, is a day they don’t get paid by their devout Muslim employers. And so, up the corporate ladder they go: thinking up better ways to kill, more effective bombs, more outrageous targets. And doing it full-time.

We Israelis don’t have the luxury of ignoring our people’s needs. But unless we get rid of some of our complexes, and begin fighting back full-time, we simply can’t win.

How about my peace plan?

Land for Terror

The IDF shouldn't occupy interior PA towns, even terror nests. Israel does not need to occupy more "islands" in a hostile sea.

Instead, Israel should announce the following policy:

After each new terror attack, the IDF will take and hold a 1K wide strip on the PA side of the Green Line. It may be wider or narrower in specific locations as suits the terrain. Push all the muslims eastward out of this 1K strip into the rest of the PA, let Arafat feed and house them.

Turn the 1K strip into a cordon sanitaire, a free fire zone which is as good as the billion dollar mega wall at preventing infiltration, and has the benefit of being moveable eastward as needed. Any non IDF seen in the 1K strip are to be fired upon immediately.

Bulldoze every structure in the 1K strip and truck away the rubble. Leave not one house for the Palestineans to demand to return to. Tell them "you have no house here, this land is lost to you forever. Thank Hamas, Hizbollah and Islamic Jihad for the loss of your land."

After each new attack, move the cordon sanitaire strip 1K eastward, and permit Israelis to settle the now fallow land previously taken.

Eventually the Palestineans will either revolt against their terrorist organizations, or they will find themselves all in refugee camps in a few tiny patches right against the Jordan River.

(The giant billion dollar wall now being built is a mistake: it grants permanent control over the land on the other side to the Palestineans, no matter what future terrorist atrocities they commit. They need to lose "land for terror", and the billion dollar wall cannot move.)

Let's stop calling them the Palestinians and call them by their real name, the Philistines. They more or less inherited the land around 70 AD when the Romans brutally put down the Hebrew revolt, destroyed the temple, and kicked the remaining Hebrews out of the area. Since then, the occupying Philistines have never established a nation or any kind of government. Around 700 AD a religious cult established by a mercenary named Muhammad and based loosely on Judaism and today called Islam moved into the area. In the Islamic tradition of building a mosque on top of the holy ground of all cultures they have conquered or overwhelmed, the Muslims built The Dome of the Rock on top of the old Hebrew temple ruins just like they did in Constantinople and countless Buddhist and Hindu shrines (they even tried to destroy the great pyramids as evidenced today in their present jagged facades). History shows that Muhammad never visited Jerusalem and the Arabs have shown little interest in it until 1948 when Jews throughout the world bolstered the indigenous Jewish presence and started to build a homeland in what was, since the defeat of the Turks in World War I, unclaimed land managed by the British in an area they arbitrarily carved out of the desert. The majority of the refugees living in The West Bank are people kicked out of Jordan and kept out of modern Israeli built housing by activists bent on presenting western journalists with the most pathetic portrayal they can contrive.

Europe has massive complicity in this. By their support and funding of the Palestinians the whole continent is guilty of what once only Hitler and the Nazi's were.

Arafat and gang are nothing more than rabid dogs. The world needs to face the fact that rabid states, organizations, and peoples are worse than rabid dogs because they think and are aware of their actions. Rabies is preventable, but not curable in in the advanced stages evident. The only solution is to put the animal down.

The land should not be resettled by anyone until the solution is achieved. Sadly however it will not be because the Pali's are enlightened about who is to blame. The majority are single minded on the destruction of Israel. A meteor could wipe out Arafats headquarters and they would blame the Israeli's.

The ONLY solution is the elimination of the rabid animals. It is an advanced case and obviously nothing else at this point will work.

Today, with the death of 19 Israelis, and over 50 hospitalized; with body parts strewn over the pavement of Jerusalem -- the city all people agree is holy -- I realized why Israel’s enemies are winning. ... To put it more simply, Israeli is "losing" because it's a liberal-Socialist electorate believes more in socialism than in the God given human rights of her citizens. It's amazing to me. Liberal secular-humanism must be the dominant religious belief in Israel, because no matter how many women, children, and babies are blown apart, Israeli's continue to tolerate their incompetent leaders, rather than toss the leftist SOB's out of government on their collectivists heads.

Ironically, as much as this author realizes there's a problem, his next-to-last sentence reaffirms his socialist values as the primary national value (i.e. "don’t have the luxury of ignoring..people’s needs"). Israel is in fact ignoring it's citizens truest needs, their need for security. Any government who does not guarantee the security of it's citizens forfeit's legitimacy, and THAT'S the objective of the Arab's terror campaign. Unfortunately, because of Israeli liberal fuzzyheadedness, the tactic is working.
