I find this difficult to believe, but hope it's true.

Having been in the polling business (worked for Louis Harris for two years and ran campaigns). I would like to know how one can take a valid poll in societies that are totalitarian at worst and authoritarian at best, rigidly controlled and rife with suspicion.

I doubdt this poll has any meaning or validity whatsoever. it seems to be one of thos fabricated polls to push an agenda and falsely debunk the perception of muslims that westerners hold.

They do favor Americans: 54 percent of young Muslims favor killing Americans, 30 percent told us they just want to kill someone. 16% of the respondents want to kill themselves before the virgins are gone. The poll has a margin error of about 100% because 100% of the young Muslim people answered that they "always lie to pig infidels"

I think most Muslims are liars to anyone outside the tent. It's part of their culture. It's part of their communication and socialization mores. It's a defense mechanism, understandable but to be accepted. Anyone who has been to the Mideast knows this truthfully. Nobody in the Mideast or really anywhere in the world trusts the first word of a Muslim when politics or loyalty is on the line. They lie. Deal with it. You are a creepy little dungeon waif, aren't you?

WHOA there! Ease up on Arne. It's probably just satire. Besides, being on the other side of the "pond", you have no concept or idea as to the great disgust we Americans are feeling toward that culture. 19 of their countrymen (with the approval of 100's of others) just killed 3,000 of our (and others) countrymen in one fell swoop. It was a LOUD wake up call for us.

How would you feel if jetliners were crashed into popular places in England and thousands killed as well? We americans are still hurting and still very, VERY angry.

By all other reports it appears that the vast majority of Muslims hate us and see us as the Great Satan and live to exterminate all non-believers in the West (That includes you brits as well).

So, yes - we are angry and skeptical about those people. Give us that much.

And one more thing - study the concept behind the Electoral College we have here before making any calls about the 2000 election, hmmm?

Let me be very clear here. I have looked around the world, and I do not see an Islamic state that is not oppressive, dictatorial, economically dismal and exceedingly violent. I do not know of a single technological innovation generated from an Islamic state. I do not know of a single medical, engineering, philisophical or artistic contribution to the world that has ever come from an Islamic State. Islam when used to govern is brutal, economically pathetic, racist, murderous and TOTALLY F'NG DISMAL. Arab Muslims have citizen rights in Israel ... an Israeli Jew would probably be stoned to death on sight on the streets of Riydah. Does anyone believe the Saudis could have ever gotten the oil out from under them without Western technology? No way. Your brave soldiers of Allah strap dynamite to 16 year old kids so they can kill Israeli infants and grandmothers. Real men there. Milosevich was RIGHT to use all means to drive the Bosnian Muslims out of his back yard. Sudanese Muslims enslave, torture and routinely murder Christians in the South. Palestinans are treated as indentured animials by the Saudis. Hussein, Arafat and Omar need to be killed. Summarily. Islamists who wish me, my family and my countrymates harm need to be killed. They brought it to us. I've done literally $millions of business with Muslim-Americans in the last ten years. I like them personally and they are very good businessmen. But they lie to their wives, they lie to me, they get off their prayer towels in the Trump Plaza and take a Russian Hooker we picked up in a limo at LaGuardia into a bedroom for a session. I don't trust a single Muslim-American to be an American in this fight. The religion, as practiced by MANY Muslims today, is corrupt, valueless and despicable. Nice family values .. women don't get schooling and children are taught a pathology of suicide and murder. Allah should strike down several million of his children for blaspheming his name so. Wanker.

This is a movement that is once again at War with the very existence of freedom, prosperity and law. We've had several ... Fascism, Communism and now Islamism. Islamism is a far different threat than the others. In WWII Germany and Japan had state interests that influenced their activities. As did Russia, China and the Bloc in the Cold War. Mutual deterrence had a benefit. Islamists are murderous animals. They would not hesitate to use ANY weapon they had at their fingertips. If an Al-Qaida "sleeper" in Newark was magically delivered a nuclear bomb today, he'd immediately go into Manhattan and detonate it. No doubts. The only state that has used poisonous gas since WWI is Iraq's Saddam Hussein. Even in Germany's darkest hour, they did not employ that weapon. Hussein used it against Iranians and Kurds. The most analagous enemy we've had in our history are the Barbary Pirates. They too, waged war against the world. They were killed or bought off. It was a worldwide understanding that their agenda was a threat to the economy and security of all. The World responded. The Europeans are slow to act here, but they'll get it eventually. They're hoping that if they are mean to us, the Muslims glaring at them from Hamburg and Paris cafes won't kill THEM. "See, we hate Americans too," Nah, the little cutthroats of Al Qaida, Hamas, Hezbollah and Islamic Jihad are planning to visit a town near you Pierre, and they don't bathe either so that's no defense. These lovely young go-getters need to be flushed out and exterminated like the cockroaches they are before their world tour. It starts with the Saudis, forget Hussein, we need to go after the money and academic sponsors who are running this little operation, being protected by that inbred clan of royal thugs and an American diplomatic denial or cowardice. They are enemy number 1 in the world right now. Hands down. Our oil money is funding plots to kill us. When is Colin Powell and his merry choir of emasculated bozos going to quit sponge bathing these deceitful walruses? Powell may have to go if his little game of diplomacy is scent marked in disdain by the Royal puppeteers.

You may have a point, but I think the important note is that while the countries mentioned are all Muslim, with the possible exception of Egypt and the Palestinian Territories (as they call them) they are not Arab.

Having spent a significant time in Indonesia, I can tell you that America is overwhelmingly thought of favorably by the populace. While they may not have the same types of freedoms as we do in the US, it's hardly a totalitarian state. I would be very surprised if anyone who was asked would feel the need to censor him(her)self there. I could imagine where they might not want to say something too negative, but that would only be because they would not want to be seen as being rude.
