Ritter upset that Padilla was arrested and not followed. Major screw-up by Wolfowitz and Rumsfeld.

Scott who?
To: Registered
Ritter says, he took an oath to uphold the Constitution.
To: Registered
I'm surprised they arrested Padilla at the airport too, and didn't tail him.
But, they probably would've lost him after 5 minutes, so they did the right thing.

Dennis Miller is also on. He's been getting a lot of grief over at the Dem web sites, as they think his support of the war on terror makes him a lunatic Republican.

Padilla worked at Taco Bell, comes back with 10 G's from Pakistan. Ritter slams Dennis Miller, says he needs to know what the US is all about, mentioning the Constitution...
To: Registered
Isn't Ritter the same guy who 3 years ago was screaming that we needed to do something about Iraq and now is singing the exact opposite tune? Something's fishy with that man.

Miller's mocking of the dramatic Ritter is comical!
To: oldvike
Yes. I want to hear what he has to say, sometimes things slip!
To: JohnHuang2
I think he led the UN nuke inspector team in Iraq, and was critical in public of how they were restricted by Saddam, and then sometime after it was bounced, he became a defender of Iraq and/or some other odious types, and decried the sanctions, I think. It may have had to do with the source of his paycheck. All in all, a rather odd saga.

I'm no Miller fan, but you gotta admit that he's an equal opportunity political basher.

Too bad my stupid digital cable no longer gets the channel that PI is normally on. Wish I could watch it.

Ritter: It's fine to have secrets...war on Terror I'm with you, take them out, the American way is embodied in the American Constitution, we need to deal with Padilla as an American.
To: oldvike
I haven't watched him enough to know. I can only take him for so long.

Well, who's side do you think he's on?!?! He's been pretty funny.
To: Torie
That about sums it up. Ritter is a traitorous Saddam-sympathizer.
To: summer
Sometimes I want to strangle the guy and other times he has me ROTFLMAO. Basically, I could take him or leave him.
