Yep. We've got thunderstorms here in Orlando and they have postponed its landing a couple of times so I'm sure that's what you heard.

Shuttle Endeavour has safely landed at Edwards AFB, California, ending a two-week mission to the International Space Station and the return of the record-setting ISS Expedition 4 crew.
Endeavour touched down at 1:58 p.m. EDT at its back-up landing strip, runway 22 at NASA's Dryden Flight Research Center, where weather conditions were perfect for the spaceplane's return.

WHEELS STOP. Endeavour has completed a successful mission that shuttled the Expedition 5 crew to the station to continue the permanent human presence in space and brought Expedition 4 home after 196 days in orbit.

Mine too. It was an exceptionally loud sonic booms....
To: tophat9000
To be technically correct I think it's a matter of there being a shuttle down ..... it was coming in for a landing ..... :-)
