Aha! It now becomes clear. The whole Klamath water issue was not about fish at all. It was about forcing farmers off of their land to turn it back into a wildlife refuge. I am outraged! My great grandfather farmed in Oregon from 1863-1892 and only moved to Calfirnia for the health of his youngest child who had asthma and needed the dryer climate. Who are these "johnny-come-latelies" to decide that farming doesn't belong in Oregon?
Afraid, these are the environmentalist whackos that Rush Limbaugh warned us about and we snickered. They are trying to take a bunch of states in the Northwest back from the citizenry. They are outsiders with elitist goals in mind and how does change start? Propaganda is the first step. Sounds like they sailed through that one.
The problem becomes who is behind them? Does a foreign government or the United Nations ultimately want to take the land? I am totally serious. That is why we need to drill in Anwar and develop our other natural resources while we are still ONE NATION. That's why I am here at Free Republic watching and learning. That is why the democrats who love the death tax and are against developing our resources are so very dangerous. They are in close proximity to the so called environmentalists.
