Federal authorities have been searching for a merchant ship carrying a group of al Qaeda terrorists and a large cache of weapons that is believed to be headed for Los Angeles, The Washington Times has learned.

The FBI has been investigating an intelligence report about the ship and a group of up to 40 al Qaeda terrorists on board for the past several weeks, but it has been unable to find the vessel or any similar plot, according to law enforcement and intelligence officials.

As I recall, two shipping containers full of AKs were seized in Oakland. Who knows what didn't get seized. (These were real AKs, BTW; not the wannabes sold under the Norinco brand name.) The guns were allegedly headed for the gangs of L.A.. I also seem to recall that Senator ChiFi's hubby was involved.

Hope someone points them in the direction of Streisand's compound

Malibu Held Hostage. This already sounds like a cheesy action movie - might as well go all the way.

"They disperse into small groups (4 or 5) and eventually cross the border with the rest of the illegals. Lots of these M.E. men could pass for Mexican."

Could work, but to be honest its getting kind of dangerous along the Mexican border.

Mexicans trying to sneek into the US are regularly beaten and robbed by gangs that patrol the Mexican side. It has become practically essential to hire a coyote in order to sneek in safely any more. Its much easier to elude the US Border Patrol than these gangs.

I suppose they could hire a coyote, but they are going to stick out big time in Mexico. There are fewer Arabs in Mexico than in the US. Remember also that there is none of this PC BS in Mexico.

If they do try this, they better bring along plenty of money for bribes.

"Forty Ski-Doos, line abreast, driven by guys in dynamite
shirts just might be taken as unusual even by local
standards."

LOL! I guess they would!

I think you meant SEA Doos. SKI doos are snowmobiles.

Actually, we did not have a power deficit in the northwest until it was shutdown permanently in 1993. There is no reason it couldn't be replaced with another sort of power production unit in the same location. (I know what you mean. I live in Longview.)
