No more foot traffic across the border for tourisnm or day labor or any other purpose for that matter. With the military doing the border patrolling, the domestic LEs can do their job at certified crossing points for truck traffic which would be delivering to consolidation points for transfer to US trucks anyway.
BP and INS is overwhelmed and needs to be reassigned to their proper role, controlling the checkpoints. We're facing an invasion of mostly unarmed workers being sent here by their country's politicians. They could be stopped quickly by the message delivered to Mexican diplomats once the troops are in place to demonstrate that the diplomats are delivering a serious message.
