Does anybody know if the Taco Bell in Davie that Padilla worked at was located on University Ave. near I-595 at the Tower Shoppes location? The reason why I ask is that I have eaten there several times although I usually prefer the nearby Pollo Tropicale. Just curious but it does bring this story into a more personal perspective if the Davie Taco Bell was at this location.

The only Davie Taco Bell listed in the Fort Lauderdale phone book is at 2250 S. University -- looks like that's the one. (I'll be avoiding all Taco Bells in the future.)

I believe it was the Davie Taco Bell. Was mentioned in the Broward Herald article on a previous thread. Link

Makes me not want to eat at fast food joints, with the possibility of a Jose Padilla serving you your food.
