I did the video thing also with the old family movies ... came out real nice

As for making copies .. if you have 2 VCR's ..you can hook hook them together and make copies that way

Well, we do have two VCRs, so the real cost is going to be, getting all the film onto VHS tape...and now I see where there is a machine out, where you can convert all your VHS tapes to DVDs...sure is easier to store DVDs instead of VHS tapes....technology keeps marching on...

that's sort of the way I'm going with mine.

I know and she knows, she is really out of hand when her daddy raises his voice. My husband is the most even tempered person I have ever met in my life - so when he gets angry - it's really bad.

At the moment I am the greatest mom on the planet. The little darling decided she wanted to pull down the attic access stairs and climbed up on her doll's bunk bed to reach the cord - lost her balance and hit her face on the bed post.

She is now ensconced on the floor in the dining room propped up with all kinds of pillows, as an ice packe and chocolate milk watching Sponge Bob.

Please understand - the television in the dining room is MINE - it is 10 feet from where I am sitting.

I'm a great mom!!!!!

I just saw a commercial for this machine the other day...it shows the wife transfering the VHS tape to a disc, then she hands the tape to her hubby, who tosses it out the window...I was surprised myself to see it, but there it was...dont know what it is called tho...
