After I posted that, I realize it might have come across the wrong way.
I'm all for doing exactly what you're doing. My comments came because I have a friend in the business and he is less expensive than some of the chain operations. So you might want to also look into small or even one person operations locally. Some of the chain outfits send the stuff out - heaven forbid they were to lose one of the films.
By sticking with a small local outfit you will be a bit safer in that regard.

He was already on the list since September at #48 and also on the other list on line 13.
I sent him a FReepmail to explain.

Those are really good suggestions...often it is more cost effective to get a smaller outfit to do something...and sometimes they do an even better job...and yes, it would be horrific if even one roll of film should ever get lost...I would be heartbroken, it that ever happened...

once video is made, it does not cost much to copy
I copied mine and sent it to my cousins
I think I was allowed to mail it bookrate
ask your hubby
PO has special boxes for videos and special rates

My husband has seen some of the film, but I am sure he has not seem most of it...I am sure he has never seen the wiggly gals...we might have to censor it...
Also sometimes dad would film us in slow motion, or fast motion, and those are just so funny...
One time he just had our family and my aunts family from downstairs, in one of his little tricky fast motion films...he told us all to just come out of our back door, walk down the stairs, go down the sidewalk to the garage, go into the garage, and close the door...
He said, just act normal, walk in normal speed, talk to each other, kids smack each other around, just do what you normally do...
When he got the film back, it was so funny....there we all were, speeding down the stairs, smacking each other around in speedy time...
And in the film, there was a guy next door, shoveling coal for their furnace...dad filmed him too...when you see the film, that coalman is shoveling that coal at a mile a minute...
That whole film is hysterical...I have not seen it in many years, I know I am going to split my sides laughing when I see it again...

Real crabs!!!!!!! YAY
The only place that does real crabs properly around here does not have a rstaurant license. Used to be able to go on a semi regular basis because my SIL lived down the street. she has sinced moved - and because beer (lots of it) go with properly done crabs, there's no way we can go - can't take the chance of driving after that!!!

Thats good to know...I have lots of cousins, who would get a big kick out of seeing themselves, when they were youngsters...
To: andysandmikesmom

your dad has comedic talent
how creative to have shots of the coalman shoveling coal too

If that coalman could have shoveled coal that fast in real life, he would have made a fortune...thing was, my dad never realized the coalman was in the film, until he got it developped..dad got surprised for once...
