I took the picture in post 339 tonight just before sunset on the road to Crawford, near Highway 6. The sunflowers were just down the road another mile or so.

On bright sunny days without much shade, landscape pictures (and people pictures) usually look best in the early morning or late evening light. Forget trying to take pictures between 10AM and 3PM in the summer sunlight. (Bad UV ray time then, too, for your skin)
