a common ancestor. That doesn't mean
we evolved from apes any more than
dalmations evolving from pit bulls.

Good point. I never thought butterflies descended from pterodactyls, either. And even though the SST Concordes resemble pterodactyls, I don't think the SSTs descended from them, either.

The only logical creation is evolution. But it's probably more correct to say that man and ape evolved from the same primate. It's stupid to assume that todays apes did not evolve since before astrolopithicus africanus..

Me thinks the people who defend evolution protest too much. I never got this much response in all the time I've been posting. Well, I can't quite figger out where the humor starts and where it ends in your comment, but I felt like responding to this snippet..

If I were to think God incapable of creating different species, I'd have to be stupid and blind.

What exactly does Moses mean when he suggests that God created man in His own image? I say it means that He has given us the means to figure out His methods to some extent.. Sure we will fall on our faces while we grow up so to speak. Evolution is the method God used to design and create. To be able to understand that distinguishes us from the squirrel. Or maybe not.
