Israel on Saturday rescued a 13-year-old Palestinian boy who was kidnapped by Hamas and was going to be forced into being a suicide bomber, Prime Minister Ariel Sharon revealed to members of the House International Relations Committee yesterday. Sharon provided no other details about the incident or the boy, and no other information was immediately available about the previously unreported incident. Sharon wrapped up his sixth visit to the US with a warm reception from Congress, which has nearly finalized approval for $200 million in supplemental aid for Israel. Sharon was due last night to depart for London, where he will meet with Prime Minister Tony Blair today. Sharon, Israeli officials said, has received several invitations from European leaders and could make a broader trip to Europe in the near future. In addition to the House panel, Sharon met with the House and Senate leadership, the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, and Jewish members of Congress. "The meetings were good at every spot. They received him warmly, told him he has friends on Capitol Hill," one Israel official said. Sharon thanked legislators for recent resolutions passed in support of Israel and pledged to continue to keep them updated about the situation by telephone. "There is no disagreement in this country on support for Israel. We support Israel, period," Sen. Joseph Biden (D-Delaware), chairman of the Senate committee.

What is wrong with Palestinian parents? Where is the intelligence to realize they are being fooled by terrorists hiding behind radical religion to keep their own power?
Until they stand up and take care of their own children - they will never have me supporting any of their efforts. Any people that kill their own children and the children of enemies on purpose do not deserve any designation as a state or even membership in the human populace.
Sheesh. That makes terrible sense.
