Some news on the Dutch forming of the government and the impact of the move to the right.
To: all
Please excuse this short interruption. As you know, the fundraiser is in full swing. We need your help.
Please stop by the fundraising thread and give it a bump. And if you have a few bucks, we'd really appreciate a contribution to keep this site running. IMO, it's the best site on the internet for news and analysis.

Does the reference to the three coalition parties mean that a new right-wing government is now in power in Holland?

Maybe we could deport all our liberals to the Netherlands.

I hope the Dutch start showing the way in a first step to preserve what is left of judeo-Christian Western civilisation.
I fear however, that should our white house hear about this. Our "compassionate conservatism" administration may demand all the expulsees be sent to America in the vain hope they will register as republicans in time for the 2004 election.

"Special police units would ensure that immigrants lacking a residence permit will no longer ``be wandering around in our country.'' " Isn't this what the INS is suppose to be doing in this country.

A permit for a partner will only be given to an applicant older than 21 rather than the current age of 18 who earns at least $1,410 per month. Interesting. My wife's cousin immigrated to the Netherlands from the Philippines just this past year, and she didn't make jack.

Knighthawk, link no longer works. Could you perhaps supply a URL for this story? It's for an e-mail daily out here. Thanks in advance, Byron.

Dutch newspapers reported Wednesday that the three coalition parties agreed any immigrant who cannot show valid residency papers should not be allowed to stay. The report said the parties also want to set up special police squads to detain and deport illegal immigrants. What a great idea! Now if we could just copy it in the US...
