God with His impeccable sense of timing, combined with a 'devilish wit' humbles us all with an occasional 'time out'.

Gotta watch out for 'snakes'--They have a tendency to mess up a 'Garden'. Gabz is innocent??? {;~)

Hmmm ... maybe Freepers per 100,000 people and contributions per 100,000 would be more encouraging.

Look at Texas - that is just AWFUL.
How truly pathetic - words are failing me at the cheapness of the Lone Star State.

Sam Houston would not be proud of this. He once commented that Texas could exist just fine without the United States, but that the USA could not exist without Texas.

On a per capita basis, FreeRepublic could do just fine without Texas. So sad.

it wasn't so much that anyone thought I was commenting on the previous post - just the bad timing of the 2 posts.

Personally I thought it was hysterical!!!!

I posted a Thank you to a generous FReeper identifying the state by it's official nickname and with it's state flag.

I see nothing wrong with that..................

I'm not the one that coined the nickname.
