Now that they have an ending (Guilty), filming begins in New Zealand next month on ``Murder in Greenwich,'' Los Angeles police detective Mark Fuhrman's book about the murder of 15-year-old Martha Moxley.
Casting is not yet complete for the USA movie adaptation of the best-selling book, which Fuhrman will help produce. But we hear they are seeking a fortysomething actor ``lean and muscular with piercing eyes'' to play the O. J. Simpson-case detective. Oh, my.
We can only assume they are seeking the opposite for the role of convicted murderer Michael Skakel.

Huh? Why do they film a movie that takes place in Greenwich, CT in New Zealand???? Anyway, who do you think will play Michael Skakel, Teddy, Ethel, etc.?

Huh? Why do they film a movie that takes place in Greenwich, CT in New Zealand???? Probably because unions, in non-Right to Work States, make it too expensive to make a movie. More and more, movies are being made in less labor-friendly (read labor-extortionist) states or countries.
BTW, that's exactly the reason why most manufacturing jobs have left the country.

If Chris Farley were still alive, he would be a good casting choice for portraying Michael Skakel.

If Sidney Greenstreet were alive, he'd be good casting for Michael Skakel or Teddy Kennedy.

How about a screen test for Gerald Nadler as Michael Skakel?

How about James Woods as Mark Fuhrman? They'll have to work with his hair to make it look right, but he's a great actor. Alec Baldwin would be good in the role too, but there's no way I'm paying to see him!

I would cast Beau Bridges as Skakel. Clinton as Ted Kennedy.

Hey everyone. I'd just like to say, i got to be there in New Zealand during filming and I played a small role in Murder in Greenwich. It was very well casted and I enjoyed becoming friends with the cast and now staying in touch with them as we're back in America. We filmed at amazingly beautiful locations. I look forward to watching it on channel USA November 15th at 8.
