Since Camille Paglia has dropped out of public view (probably writing the follow up to "Sexual Personae"), Oriana Fallaci has become my favorite female warrior.

"Besides that, it is also the name of a small mollusk--a small octopus to be precise--good to eat when fried like a third-rate enemy. (Just marinate it in egg batter, flour it, and throw it in oil thats boiling at 280 degrees.)"

Thanks for the post and the ping.
And I'm in agreement regarding Camilla Paglia.
Her insights are missed.
Arafat should be tried for the murders of the diplomats in Khartoum. Their families should file a lawsuit against Arafat, and against our own State Department for sodomy in rutting for this pervert all these years. The Rutter-in-Chief was Clinton, who made Arafat his most-invited houseguest (???)
If we had any honor, we would require our diplomats to spit on him, not shake his hand.
Bravo for Bush that he disdains to meet this scum and shake his hand.
He (Bush) won't have to do any symbolic handwashing when this sorry era is over.
Like Truman, I hope he sleeps well, and like a baby, after doing everything which will be necessary to conclude this war.

Oriana Fallaci is my favorite commentator on the world, bar none.
Thankfully she lives in New York, is writing a book, and no doubt will leave a lasting legacy. Unlike some others who reside in New York.
