Time to oil up the old thumbscrews and check the tension of the ropes on the rack ...

I am surprised people are objecting to his classification as a war combatant.

Too bad he's an American.
We could call in the Russians and give him a taste of the "Big Lubyanka". You know, after dinner mint on the pillow and all that?
Be Seeing You,
Chris

Bust out the electrodes!

He is a US citizen, however, since we have ascertained that he has collaborated with a known enemy of the US, we should either try him for Treason, or assume he has revoked his citizenship and send him to Israel for 'questioning'.

I am surprised people are objecting to his classification as a war combatant. Not all of the enemy are terrorists. Some are bleeding-heart leftists who object to the war on terrorism.

Time to pull out the pliers - Pliers applied to the nether regions, while producing quite a bit in the way of screams and tears, provides much information when applied properly...

Posted this on the duplicate thread:
Might be disinformation. He probably has talked (thanks to the marvel of modern pharmaceuticals), but we need his fellow travelers to keep doing what their doing so we can catch more of them. If they think their other plots are still unknown by us, they're more likely to continue.

Drop him off the Sears tower in Chicago. Give him to a few people whose relatives lost loved ones in the WTC first (like me).

Where's the ACLU to cut him free?

Here's the question I keep kicking around, without a satisfactory answer:
Since they knew it was still in the "planning stages", meaning there was no immediate danger of him actually setting off a device, why didn't they just tail the heck out of him to find out where he goes and who he talks to? Why bring him in at all? Why not keep him under constant surveilance, and wait? He could very well have LED them to the others and to the "source" of the nuclear material.

we should either try him for Treason, or assume he has revoked his citizenship and send him to Israel for 'questioning'. I believe we should try him for treason. A local radio station this morning reported that he might stay in prison indefinitely and never come to trial. I do NOT want that to happen. This is the US. I have no problem with a trial by military tribunal, nor do I have a problem with the death penalty, if that is so warranted. However, I never want to see anyone in the US put away without a trial--at some point.

re:#17
Who knows, maybe he already has and the authorities wanted to get the word out to see who would panic and run for cover ... maybe leading them to even more of the roaches in our wainscotting.

"However, I never want to see anyone in the US put away without a trial--at some point."Okay, I agree with you ...
... how about setting the court date some time AFTER the War on Terrorism has been successfully completed.
