Do you have the article that states that he's from Puerto Rico? I am not attacking Mexicans, I'm attacking the "root of all evil", illegal immigration, and how illegals coming to this country, they don't give a crap about this country. I'm surprised, however, that this guy's background is not mentioned in the main media outlets. If I'm wrong, please let me know where I can read about that.

"Since when did you follow the RULES?" Always.. and I don't find it hard! So you were saying? BTW,.. you really should learn to take a compliment, which is what my post 22 was to you!

"
A government source, speaking on condition of anonymity, said Padilla and at least two others who may have been involved in the alleged plot were detained in Pakistan on immigration violations before May 8. But Padilla was allowed to board his international flight and tricked into believing he had escaped - with U.S. agents sitting on the plane quietly watching his every move."
Okay, I am cool with how they played this flunky but...Uhhh...
What about the others?
What has happened to them?

Dangit, I missed that and read something else. My apologies; I will have it yanked.
To: VaBthang4
Hopefully they are letting the Indians use them for target practice.
To: Savage Beast
You got it all right there :)

Hey friend.. not a problem. Don't worry about yanking it.. I'm not thin skinned.
Thanks for posting this article. Heck, I've done exactly what you did. If you get yours pulled, have my response to you pulled. No hurt feelings,..and no problems. We are fighting the same enema (enemy,.. but same thing ya know?) :o)

Been inside a high school lately? We treat our children like prisoners and our prisoners like pampered wards of the state. No wonder our society is so profoundly screwed up.

I was listening to "All Liberal Things Considered" as I left work (hey, it's the only news program on).
It was clear that they'd lead with the basic news story on the dirty bomb suspect.
Then they always go for analysis. Now most networks (even CNN) would next go to the difficulties of constructing a dirty bomb, where they'd get the components.
But not NPR. Almost like clockwork, their second story was an interview with a Duke law professor who spent five minutes whining about how this poor victimized suspect wasn't going to get as many legal protections as he deserved from our generous society because he was taken as a prisoner.
The prof went on to complain that the shoe bomber Richard Reid was being tried in a regular court, so why not this poor guy from Chicago? Gee, prof, perhaps because plotting to explode a radiological bomb in the center of a city is even more severe than crashing a plane, and because a radiological bomb plot requires many more people involved and a military trial is one way to squeeze the suspect to name names?

To hell with the "Liberals"! Profile aggressively! Stop these Islamic terrorists, most of whom are from Islamic, Middle Eastern countries, before they can accomplish their blood-thirsty, murderous, evil, violent designs. In case you didn't notice, this suspect doesn't fit the standard profile. If anything, this case will be used to justify not profiling.

More proof in the "Three Strike Ruling". He could have been put in jail for life.

Doing alot of citizen volunteer work against many latino gangs in conjuction with gang crimes here, I'd like to know more about his bio. Gang affilation, neighborhood he was raised etc.
There was a warning last month Al-Q would true to recruit U.S.citizens, just imagine how many anti-government types are more than willing. they were recruiting for the KK right out of my high school on the NW side in the mid 60's so...

I'm wondering if this guy had any FALN associations...

Actually the profiling and the random searches, are - if nothing else - making it much more difficult to bring illeagal things into the country and carry out illeagal acts in airports and on planes. I recently traveled out of foreign country back into the US, and as soon as we transfered to an American owned and opperated airline myself and my companion were subjected to a thourough (sp?) search of our luggage.
Everything we were bringing was checked. All our bags were opened and everything was double-checked to be sure that it was all in order to be exactly what it should have been. This is not unusual. The result of these more careful security checks is this guy was caught
before he did anything.
Profiling, random sweeps, thourough searches, keep 'em up.

I just saw a lawyer on MSNBC who said they had to release him for lack of evidence, or pull this lewgal maneuver. That's why the press conference today, because otherwise they had to release for lack of evidence. This guy sounds like a convenient dupe-not a nuke terrorist. I was wondering why they waitied until now to release the info. He has been in custody since May 8th. Unless they have reliable info that something similar is going to happen soon.
Why do they need to inform the people that he has been arrested, their logic previously was not to annouce any of the captives, to ensure Al-Q would not know who was still in operation.
What also concerned me is that he was recruited in Prison. How many more were recruited ? Someone recruited him, so their is at least one more out there.
I also believe "Iron Mike" converted to Islam in Jail.
If society is going to keep the poor man under foot and not try to re-educate, then the prisons are the captive breeding ground of the disillusioned, not just conversions to Islam.

Understand, if you're a big tough gang-banger, Islam must hold a tremendous appeal, because Islam is the biggest and toughest gang of them all, and better yet it gives you a free pass to rob and kill all those infidels out in Dar al-Harb. I respectfully put forth that Islam is not nearly the toughest gang of them all. The USA is a much tougher gang. For that matter, the British, French, Germans, Russians and Chinese are each probably tougher.
