I was going to say "WHO?", but then I realized his band's fans never heard of Sarah Vaughan, they never heard of Lee Wiley -- heck, they never heard of Satchmo....
I think I will say "WHO?"

WELL,"PLAY WITH FIRE"!

How Funny.
When I think about all the children with incurable diseases in all the childrens hospitals in the World and contrast that to some dirt ball rock star who has everything he could possibly need and a healthy body with which to enjoy it all, then kills himself with excess.
I have to laugh at the dope. In this case, I'm pity free.

"Lay it down, Lay it down".
One of the ugliest lead singers in Rock N Roll, Stephen Pearcy (NO pictures please). Still a shame that Crosby had to throw his life away like that.

Funny, My first concert was ratt and poison. RattPoison, now thats funny.
To: FortheFuture
Yeah, I remember that tour ("Invasion of Your Privacy"). Poison started as the opening act, but it got to the point that more people were showing up for Poison than for Ratt!

When Sabbath toured with BOC in the early eighties, it was hyped as the "Black and Blue Tour". Very witty.

Thats true. At the show where I saw them, in Dothan AL, Rikki Rocket (lol) the drummer got arrested for rape and had to stand trial in a little town. I think they paid her off though (minor).

Poison started as the opening act, but it got to the point that more people were showing up for Poison than for Ratt! I saw Bon Jovi open up for Ratt in '85 or '86. Bon Jovi was supporting his second album (7800 Farenheit, I believe). It was right before Bon Jovi really broke open big.
Anyways, McNichol's Arena here in Denver was sold out for the show (17,000+ seats). Bon Jovi played for about 30-40 minutes before Ratt came on. When Ratt hit the stage, half the arena had cleared out.

Crosby, who went public with his illness in a radio interview last July, saying he had contracted the disease through heroin use, died on Thursday. While this is sad, for some time Crosby was blaming his disease on massive amounts of unprotected sex while touring. He never mentioned heroin until recently.
