[history]
A guilty verdict in the Michael Skakel murder case had seemed as improbable as the likelihood that a vivacious teenaged girl could be bludgeoned to death within the confines of a gated Greenwich community.
But as the handcuffs tightened audibly on Skakel's wrists and several of Martha Moxley's childhood friends sobbed softly but uncontrollably, the weight of reality dropped.
The toll was heavy and harsh, the grief fresh.

There are 12 just men. &;-)
"Sherman argued Skakel should be allowed to remain free on the $500,000 bond he'd already posted in the case, pending outcome of his appeal. Judge John F. Kavanewsky Jr. refused that request, and ordered Skakel taken into custody immediately. "
How sweet! &;-)

I can't help but think about the travesty of the OJ case involving TWO brutal murders and the overwhelming evidence of guilt ignored by that jury.
This sounds like justice finally delivered as it should be.

Sadly, it was not broadcast on TV either. Keeping the sheeples dumbed down is working so well. &;-)

I feel it was best not televising the trial.....I feel it keeps the grandstanding and Bull S#%t theatrics down to a minimum....Sherman is an ass and would have loved it and it probably would still be going on ....
I also feel the verdict would have been different.........I was pleased with the way the judge handled the whole thing....
I think we may hear Scum Bag Micheal will be under suicde watch, sure hope so anyway.....

It's a toss up between the Kennedy crime family and the Clinton-Rodham gang as to which is the most infamous.

I thought surely he would get away with it. Justice for Martha, It's a start, finally justice has fallen upon the Kennedy clan and the Democratic controlled media and the Democratic party. The Kennedy clan and the Democratic party is made up of criminals, murder and rape is a way of life for them. The big cheese still hides in the Senate. Smith the rapist wanted to run for office knowing that once he got into office anything goes and he could continue his lifestyle under the protection of the Democratic party. Bad timeing for Smith now that his cousin was going to tial, so he pulled back. JUSTICE FOR MARTHA, thank God for a jury that couldn't be bought or threatened and justice has been served. This trial could be the one piece to weaken the foundation of the corruption that sits in our government. More to fall, I hope, but it's not over jet. The sentencing. Will the Judge live or die? Will the Judge be bought? Will the Judge face the IRS? Just remember one thing, Hillary and Kennedy have the FBI files. If the IRS and the FBI files don't get the Judge before the sentencing of Skakel than my advice to the Judge is Stay out of Airplanes. Planes seem to fall out of the sky when they want to get rid of someone.

I'm sure Michael is enjoying his new digs! =8^)
I gotta tell you, I still can't believe the found him guilty! I guess the main problem for the defense was their witnesses, who had vivid memories of Michael's whereabouts that night (i.e. "alibi"), could remember very little else from that fateful night. They all had their pro-Michael story down but were unable to recall other details that were provided by the prosecution witnesses.

If "Justice for Martha" is a start, when does the "Justice for Mary Jo" campaign begin?

I am so pleased that at least one member of the Kennedy crime family finally got nailed. They have been getting away with thieving, rape and murder for too long. About time the rest of them did some jail time starting with that fat alcoholic Teddy.

You'd think that after 27 years, the witnesses would have been able to rehearse their stories better than that. Such cynicism! 8^)
