Mary Jo Copeland got the big victory she wanted Tuesday night when the Eagan City Council voted 4 to 1 to approve her proposed children's group home for rezoning and development.

I am so happy for Mary Copeland. It's amazing that there are so many people in the Twin Cities that despise her. She takes all the criticism without flinching - it's truely amazing. Hurrah for Copeland!

ostly black audience described the home as a "monster" that could do "irreparable damage to our community."

Well if these so-call "Black Leaders" would actually DO something constructive, and stop whining and moaning.

If they're soooooo concerned about "irreparable damage to our community." they should have gotten off their butts and let her build in somewhere in MPLS.

Hypocritical race baiters.

Congrats to MJC. She deserves this, and I'm happy that Pat Awada gave it to her. Pat's a fantastic conservative woman who will hopefuly be our next State Auditor.

Exactlly, I wonder just how many of these outstanding "community leaders" are foster parents, or have adopted children themselves.
I've got a ten spot that says the number is pretty low, somewhere around...oh say ZERO.
