It was reported yesterday that CIA chief Tenet told Arafat that if there would be another large terror attack, they would not be responsible for any Israeli reply, including the exile of himself, and possibly others.Well, this is almost as large as they've gotten so far. Talk about spit in your eye. I'm not holding my breath on Arafat's exile though. I'm pretty sure at this point that he is NEVER going to go away. He'll never leave the country, he'll never be assassinated, he'll never be held accountable for anything he has ever done, he'll never die of natural causes...
I had a funny feeling when I woke up this morning that for some reason, I'd turn on the tv and see another attack. First thing I saw was an unbelievably burned shell of a bus. Words can't express.

All this on the eve of Mubarak coming to the U.S. The Palis are trying to send a message Israel, the U.S., and Egypt. We mustn't pick up the phone.....

Hey ARAFAT, It's time for you to go now, the party's over, sayonara, hasta la vista, aloha, adios, ciao scumbag.

They need to take about a thousand bull dozers in there and tear that town down around the residents ears. No more Jenin, no more Ramalah. Tear the entire place down and move the pitiful innocent refugees into one closed off town near the Jordanian border, have a picnic waiting for them, courtesy of the Red Cross for humanitarian effect.

I would mine the barren ground to ensure nothing gets put back up in the future!

I'm afraid that's exactly what will happen. If not, all it takes is for Bush's friend, the Saudi prince, to pick up the phone and call Papa Bush.

Oh really? who the hell are you? Even the world's sole superpower had not dare to ask me to leave but instead demanded that the Jews let me come and go as I please. Don't forget you're talking to general Arafat. If I hear one more word from you ...

If only Israel and the US had one ounce of your uncommon sense, 9/11 would not have happened.

We thought this would happen a month ago when the daily bombings were going on. It didn't. Arafat even got paroled. Maybe those who wobbled a month ago will finally realize you can't negotiate with terrorists. And Arafat is Terrorist-in-Chief.

Why would we want the removal of the now totally nuts Arafat? If he were removed someone more effective might takeover the terrorist group called the "Palestinean people" and become even more deadly.
What could downgrade a group more than to have Arafatty fronting for it? Leave Arafatty alone, surrounded, isolated, wild-eyed drooling lunatic as he is now. He is the best possible advertisement for the rightness of Israeli policies.
Unless they are ready to kill thousands of these maggots then fine kill him too.

Typical diplomatic weasel words, leaving wiggle room for the subhumans the pin-stripe guys like to think of as normal people. The "large attack" part is probably diplo-speak for "we expect the Israelis to avoid disproportionate responses." IOW, the IDF can't start carpet bombing Ramallah in retaliation for a suicide bombing.
However, I think the important part of the message is this: the US would not be responsible for any Israeli reply.
IOW, Tenet told Arafat that the U.S. will not act as a buffer between Israel and the PA, as it has done in the past, so long as the IDF doesn't take what we percieve to be unreasonably harsh steps.
We'll see how that plays out over the next couple of days, as the IDF responds to the car bombing.

>The current death toll of Israelis murdered in this latest attrocity stands now at 16. 16 Israelis dead, and there is practically no TV news coverage of the event.
When I first saw it on the internet, I check out CNN, FOX and MSNBC. They were all doing normal stories. I even began to wonder if the story was real.
Either I slipped through some weird scheduling crack and just happened to check in during breaks in coverage, or the US media is scaling back on its Israel news...

What a wonderful compliment, thank you.

Force evacuate everyone from Jenin, then level the entire town. Another bombing, then another town.

There is no excuse in this world for Israel sitting back and tolerating this insanity. The only way to cure this type of mental illness is to wipe them out. Unfortunately, the innocent Arabs will be punished with the guilty, so my advice to all of them is to leave, since they cannot control their brethern. I know, I know, no one else wants these savages either.

If Powell yields to the whining of the Saudis, Jordanians, Egyptians and the EU and who knows who else (none of which want to take Arafat), he's more of a wooz that I thought previously Powell is a peacenik, but that's kind of besides the point. They will save Arafat again because they don't know what else to do. The State Department is institutionally incapable of changing position or methods.
They will revert back to peace at all costs, because that is their "religion." To diplomats, war is failure.
Arafat should have been dead and mouldering by now. Instead he, and his sugar daddies in the Arab world are giving us the finger every day and watching, laughing while drop trow in for peace at all costs. There are times when war is the right policy. Powell is incapable of seeing that.

So, where do y'all suppose the euros and amnesty and all those other lefty nutcases are? I don't hear them babbling about war crimes and crimes against humanity any more.
Obviously these anti-semitic sob's don't consider Israeli civs to be humans. Only the Pali's are human apparently.
There's going to be another holocaust and I put it right a tthe door of Europe. They provided the money and equipment for the pali's to be buying all of these explosives and weapons.
Godspeed
