Obviously, 18 percent of the American public is dyslexic. < /sarcasm>

100 percent of the witnesses who were blind never saw a plane crash! ;~)

Third, did anyone catch Bevelaqua on Fox and friends, when they asked him about stinger missles, he said bluntly that that had probably happened with TWA 800. That was early AM. By the time of the evening news shows, when they asked him, he changed the story. Does anyone else remember this?

Someone had reported a similar story here, I believe it was Monday, with the exception that the supposed "military analyst" stated that the stinger missile was in fact the cause, but since I could not find any further verification in the media, I dismissed it as false. I would think a pronouncement of that magnitude would create a big brouhaha in the press.

"...SUV-road-trip bump! ..."

Ya got that right, pal. It was time to slow-down anyway. Hell, I'll pay for the truck and the boat in saved air-fares in two years, and have room-service too!

SUV-Road-Trip? You bet! --- when I feel like it, and I WILL be armed, unlike Airline Pilots.

As much as I love the F-16, I don't want one on my ass with a Sidewinder locked on my planes' engines!

They can keep their insanity - I'll drive instead. Stay well and vigilant, bud...........FRegards

18 percent of the witnesses said the plane turned right, while another 18 percent said the plane turned left.

This reminds me of the old Three Stooges gag where Curly and Moe are facing each other arguing over which wall is the left wall. Left and right are positional, not absolute directions, like North, South, etc. Totally depends on whether they were claiming the planes left or the viewer's left.

...What better time for Terrorists to strike to divert us away from honoring our War Veterans with more wall to wall TV Disaster Coverage in a new -Time of War- ...in a new Century ..with an Enemy that is now just around the corner and ..up your street...?

What is implied is that every attack is planned for the maximum effect or diversion! The 30th anniversary of the Watergate Breakin in coming up this month (June 13?) ... have you noticed that the word "Watergate" is being used in connection with Bush and the Memo issue?

These Leftists know exactly what they're doing. Propaganda 101!

Depending on their viewing position, moment of visual contact, orientation of sun, etc some aspects may not be visible to all viewers. But 52% seeing flames is a certainty.

There have been literally hundreds of jet airliner crashes over the past 30 years. A SIGNIFICANT number of those which have eyewitnesses had eyewitnessess reporting "fire", "explosion", "booming sounds", and "pieces in mid-air". And they are usually false. There is always a chance that the gubbermint is going to cover up an investigation - but eyewitness reports of flames actually count very little in NTSB accident investigations - because historically they turn out to be false. In addition, since one of the engines separated from the aircraft prior to impact, that in and of itself could account for "flames". And BTW, the engine could indeed separate if the rudder did a hard-over, as well as other pieces separating.

Flight 587 went down in NYC while Bush and other world leaders were at the UN.

I thought that asserting a missle brought down TWA 800 would cause a big stink also, but it was quite early in the am, before 7 am central time. So it probably got "overlooked". When they discussed missled on the evening show, he spoke slowly and deliberatly, sort of as if he didn't want to accidentally spill the beans (On the am show he was talking quite animated, like he just finished a couple cups of Starbucks expresso). He was either bullshitting and exaggerating, or else he let slip the fact and someone later told him to quiet up.

I don't know if what he said was true, but the lack of retraction was interesting: a retraction would bring attention, and unless someone taped it and brought it out, I suspect just ignoring it would let the story die quietly.
