My sons best friend's dad is Palestinian-American. I am about ready to call off all contact with the family, except that I really like the mother who is a blond hair, blue-eyed, navy brat.
The Dad is totally un-American. He thinks that the Palestinians are freedom fighters. He thinks that the attack on the WTC was okay. He thinks suicide bombers are okay. He thinks that the Jews run this country. He is very vocal about his beliefs, and I am sick and tired of hearing about his beliefs. He was born here in the USA, and he is a multi-millionaire. He has a mansion in Los Gatos, California. This country has been very good to him, and he is totally unappreciative of it.
Just had to vent. I went to the son's birthday party yesterday, and the dad was venting his anti-American rhetoric there.

This is certainly not true in general of Americans of Lebanese Christian background. I'm not counting Nader.
