Just about all of the confederate memorials have been purged in Montgomery.

What a sad commentary on our times. It was always a good history lesson for my boys. It always amazed them that they could actually stand on the same spot as Jefferson Davis. Guess that part of our history is supposed to be forgotten. No, I don't think so.
