There was a game called "Conflict" in which you get to be the Prime Minister of Israel and your objective is to knock out or destabilise the surrounding states and the PLO. You could also use nuclear weapons. There was a warm glow of satisfaction when you gave the order to turn Damascus, Cairo, Amman and Beirut into parking lots. ;)
Perhaps we need a new version of this game.
