You decide. Does the Democratic Party owe me $110 million?

There's eleven of them named Cooper, Smith, Stratton, Taylor, my surname, etc., scattered in the Union graveyards. Eleven I can prove easily. Might be twelve I can prove because there was a Peyton killed out west. The Peytons were Cherokee forcibly removed from the red clay swamps of Georgia to the richest oil field in the Plains.

(Many families have more heroes buried in those graveyards, and would be owed more, too.)

I can prove the eleven, because the "Smith" was one of the Smiths of Virginia. The Founding Families of Virginia did a geneology four or five decades ago. The FFV was trying to get my great aunt to join, because she had money. I'm not sure why they dropped her invitation to join.

The legal case against the Democratic Party is based on these facts:

Therefore, The DNC owes me $110,000,000.00 in reparations for the suffering incurred by my family in ending slavery. It could be $120,000,000.00 but I'm not sure that Indians count to the Democrats doing the reparations for slavery political ploy.

Do you think I have a case?

LOL! It's sad when you've got multiple levels of "justice" attainable in a nation. As I recall correctly, it's also one of the first signs of impending national doom, too.

*sigh*.

Be careful what you wish for, because if you won the DNC would only do what it always does and steal the money from somebody else to pay you off. In fact, it'd steal it from you and walk off laughing about it.

Do you think I have a case?

Well, considering it was the Republicans who ended slavery, no.

I'm no lawyer, but you got as good a case as typically goes to trial nowadays. Would dearly love to see it.

As to the Indian, unless the Cherokee have a casino, the Democrats won't much care about that relative. If they have a casino on the reservation, well that's a whole different matter, HUGE source of DEM campaign cash, and not covered by the new CFR bill.

No, your family died preventing succession of the South, not to end slavery. Thus your claim is bogus.

You bring up a good point. The Democrats supported slavery. Many Americans worked and fought to end slavery. If anyone owes Black people reparations its the Democrat party.

If the Nazis were still around wouldn't they owe reparations to their Jewish victims, even if they said ,"We don't believe in killing Jews anymore."

A whole lot of the Cherokee fought on the Southern side, and, as I recall, the governing body eventually decided in favor of supporting secession.

Your reasoning may be off a bit...
