I have not been up on all the details of Condit's love life
so this may not be news to you, but it was to me. Greta just
said that Joline Mckay was Mike Dayton's old girlfriend
and he gave her over to Condit. Had you heard this before?

Now that you mention it, I recall something to the effect that they had grown up together or dated; and that Mike had introduced her to him. (His warning to her about keeping quiet was supposidly as a friend rather than a threat from Gar.)
