I was going by Registered's above time-line. All I know is it was posted LAST YEAR, before any of us knew her remains would be recovered at all.

I just did a trace of that ring and it appears to be similar in design...uh oh.

Thanks! You're making a believer out of me! Sure looks like it could be "the ring" !!!!!!!! Now let's get the actual date the picture was snapped!

Um, I think we both know what that's all about...k?

I think you'll want in on this. I kinda skimmed your site, but didn't see all the pictures you posted there. Do you have anything showing him with a ring?
To: Registered
How'd you find that?
Sorry, FRiend. I just saw your note. Here you go......
Google Search Gary Condit Ring Photo

It's the FIRST link there (CONDIT_GOLDRING_WATCH_PHOTOS)

I did the same thing! Yelp!

Could Chandra's ring have been what was in the cigar box Condidit buried deeeeeeep in a trash bin in far-off Alexandria? The box that the Tag Hauer watch, gift from former staff-paramour, came in is what was tossed into the garbage bin, and it was inside a Big Mac container, not a cigar box.

Not trying to be insensitive, but its that 'trust but verify' thing. Cold analysis of all possibilities. But I understand where you are coming from.

Ahhhh.....I didn't think of it from that angle, now I understand what you are getting at. If the Wash.Times IS correct about the ring being found on her, than you may win the 2002 Columbo award.

He may have to share it with the MODBEE?
Diver Dave how do we contact the Modbee to get the time of that photograph?

I dunno, looks too flat in the blown up photo, would expect a rise and a widening if consistent with the rendering of the ring. My guess is that he was wearing a simple uniform pinky ring. But the fact that another photo has not been found of him wearing one is interesting, and this one does look a bit snug on his finger.

My trace of it shows a widening to it.

Oops. "Upon further review..." Scratch my post #195.

The bigger close-up is too blurry for me to see any more than what looks like a gold band -- the first blow-up is better. He does have very slim fingers, and I'm gonna again compare myself. My wedding/engagement ring is 5, but they slip a bit. My finger portion is a bit smaller, but I can't get anything smaller than a 5 over my knuckle. That pinky doesn't look all that much fatter than my own ring finger, but again, Condit is thin, and was really looking as if he wasn't eating at all at the time of the coverage. If Chandra's ring was 4.5, I could see it getting onto his pinky, and maybe, now with the blow-up, even a 4. The ring on that hand looks like a tight fit, I'm going to go to more-possible category here.

Definately! Who do you contact with that information. Loose lips do sink ships! We want to get our man!

Step back from the monitor a bit. You might see the lines clearer.
