How could she take a taxi? Her money, credit cards, etc were found in her apartment.

If she was going to meet someone she knew she could have just taken a couple of dollars for the cab ride, knowing she would get a ride back to her apartment.

But she would've taken the cell phone, unless she was meeting Condit. That's why the cell phone is interesting. The question is did she leave it behind, or was it placed there later in order to finger Condit? And I can't believe Condit isn't crucial to this case. He either did it, or he know who did and/or why.

I've taken a taxi when I haven't had money or credit card on me. I just told the driver the truth and that we'd have to stop at the nearest ATM on the way. Another time, I told him I would have to go in the house and get his money when we got there. No problem.
