Bill is being very polite and level-headed in this interview, and is a former teacher himself. But, Ian Harvey is making himself look worse by the minute.

Ian: "'The last word'? Huh...All forms are violence are wrong..."

Bill was very nice to him. But, Ian Harvey sounded like he just woke up, and hadn't given any thought at all to what he would say on national tv. Ian did not make a convincing case at all.

My exact response. How does he expect to be taken seriously, coming on national TV wearing a t-shirt, weird hair and an earring (!) and completely unprepared to present his position. Some day we'll be reading a thread about this guy being in deep trouble.

These anti war (see: Anti American) types don't have a clue about reality. Dogrobber, Bluesagewoman, Vast Right Wing Conspiracy, myself, wife, granddaughter and others have staged an anti anti-war protest in Columbia MO every Saturday for a long time (I'm the short timer - only a few months). Just saw a copy of the Columbia Tribune report on the Memorial Day parade and was ticked off big time. Out of 31 sentences, 14 glorified the Anti American left and showed a paid, full time peacenik receiving an award from the veterans against the war. I had a misconception that Memorial Day was to HONOR American veterans, not pinkos. At least they printed our picture waving the "support our troops" sign. Bluesagewoman wore a neat poppy print dress and had a sign that thanked the vets which received many,many "thumbs up" and verbal thank you's from the parade participants. It was kinda neat when I received the salutes from our honored vets in the parade. Makes the FReeping worthwhile.
