The bishops, of course, did nothing, and forced Fr. Doyle to join the military and get out of the United States.

I just downloaded and read the 1985 report you referenced: "The Problem of Sexual Molestation by Roman Catholic Clergy", but Andrew Greeley doesn't appear to have authored it. Are you sure you meant Andrew Geenley? He is one of the media's favorite "priest advocate" for female ordination.

Fr. Thomas Doyle authored it, along with two other gentlemen by the name of Peterson (a psychologist) and Mouton (a lawyer). I'm sorry if I implied that Greeley was involved in this report.

Thank God for Bob's passion and conviction and devotion. I loved the program and felt uplifted and committed to ridding our Church of the cancer that is being revealed....... finally.

I'd still like to see the excommunication of legislators who claim to be Catholic and vote pro-death everytime!

You and me both! The worst thing that could happen would be for Catholic Churches to loose their non-profit tax status. How well do you think that excuse will work at the Pearly Gates? Bob also said that it would merely require simple majorities in both houses of Congress (and presumably the President's signature) to undo Roe Vs. Wade. If true, the dissemination of that information could inflame the abortion debate in this country more than any other issue since slavery. We might be closer than we ever imagined.

It makes me sick to my stomach every time they show the Kennedy compound and a priest is on hand to say Mass and give the Holy Eurcharist to Ted and Pat Kennedy, among other family members. What an abomination!

Too bad these good "catholics in name only" couldn't be counted on to vote the correct way on the Roe v. Wade issue.

The first thing we need to fix is the notion that a person can be a CINO and still be a Catholic. No assent, no sacraments.

It would require a constitutional amendment to overturn Roe v. Wade, which is 2/3 of both Houses and 3/4 of the States.
