Why did Ted start the fire in the trash can? The answer to this question seems important.

Lots of silence on this one.

My husband took an already lit candle (Mr Safra had chronic diarrhea) and held in under the fire alarm. He did it solely to get help from the fire department since the police would not arrive after multiple pleas of help. The pleas of help can be shown in the 911 calls that the police "can't find" for the entire day. My husband put the candle in the wastebasket in a contained room several rooms away from Mr Safra (in a small nurses' station). The fire report show a bomb in the basement as well as a "conflaguration" of flames an HOUR after Ted left by ambulance. This is shown in the fire report.

I am not silent on this, sinkspur, I have been working the past 40 hours in 3 days, so I am trying to keep up with the questions.

With all due respect, these sentences, like the remainder of the paragraph you posted, make absolutely no sense.

What does a lit candle have to do with Safra's diarrhea? Did Ted want the fire department to come to help with the diarrhea?

As I suspected, you live in a parallel universe, absolutely unrelated to the one I'm living in.
