My husband took an already lit candle (Mr Safra had chronic diarrhea) and held in under the fire alarm. He did it solely to get help from the fire department since the police would not arrive after multiple pleas for help.

What does a lit candle have to do with Safra's diarrhea? Did Ted want the fire department to come to help with the diarrhea?

Candles were always lit for the diarrhea (perfumed candles). Since the police would not arrive (after being called multiple times), the fire department were alerted by setting off the fire alarm. I was explaining how the alarm was set off. I apologize for your not understanding the English language.

The more I come back to this thread and follow the posts, the more I find that I can't help juxtaposing the whole thing with the Mumia "cause celeb". The similarity in the psychology of the excusers / conspiracy theorists is eerie.

I am an avid tin-foiler myself, but even I can't follow this one.
