End of the Mayan Calander

Cool. I've watched a few shows on the Mayans, but never dug that deep into their prophacies. Gee, now you've caught my interest.

Errrr, don't tell the Turks that. They're still buiding their 22 dam complex on the Tigris and Euphrates. Soon they'll control the water to the entire mid-east, a fact not lost on the Syrians, Saudis etc.

No kidding. The Turks will let China through? Someone closes off the water, but I'm sure it's the Saudies that will do it. I'm sure the Saudies have control of it then. Darn, back to the good book. I've got to check.

I'm not sure where you get Dec. 22, but the Bible countdown started not when Israel became a nation alone - but when it inhabited Jerusalem as a nation. It comes to 2012 as well.

I think it's the last day of the Mayan calendar...or the day of the alien invasion of earth, per the X-Files.

Hold that thought. Aren't the Chinese now negotiating terms with Pakistan to allow them passage through the mountainous regions to Afghanistan? I could be wrong in my assessment of this, but the success of this negotiation could mean that the waterway "barriers" (Euphrates) would no more be a problem for advancing Asian troops/armor to the Arab states and westward, as they could more easily move around them. Here's the problem, though. America has turned it's back on God.
Right now, America is the restrainer, stopping the world from the chaos of war. We have peacekeepers all over the world.
The EU is building the revived Roman Empire. They will reduce themselves to 10 members because of dissagreements.
Now, according to prophacy, 10 nations gather together in secret and destroy the restrainer, Babylon the great (the nation with the greastes riches, and greatest military in the world). I don't know if it's the UN, or 10 others because it's in secret.
"The kings of the earth who have gotten rich off her luxeries will morn, and no merchant ships will dare come near her shores."
THAT'S the really scary part.

Yep. That's how you can tell if a prophet is real. Edgar Cayce gave the date of 1998, Michael Scallion said 1998, I'm not sure of Nostridomus, but I believe he said 1988.
God gives man a chance to repent. There's an eb and flow to his prophacies. The world may turn to God one day, like right after 9/11, but within a month be back to their same 'ol selves. We always have a chance to hold off the end if man chooses to do so. If not, the end will come. That's why there's no Biblical date. God allows us time. Eventually, the angel will put one foot on the land, the other in the sea, and say "There will be no more delay."

As I see it, China - having no blue-water navy, cannot transport enough PLA troops via any means other than land to be a formidable occupying force.
There are no chances India would allow Chinese troops to cross their borders as the two have considered each other hostile to one another, so only Pakistan - which is somewhat allied with China - is the only feasible ground route westward.
Once over Pakistan, without US troop involvement, Afghanistan would be no contest for westward advancing PLA troops unless significant Afghan military changes are made now (unlikely), or unless international forces are involved....

I believe this is the dawning of the ICC and the effect it will have on America's power throughout the world. As one can already see, the ICC would nullify all sovereignty of nations, including that of our country and would attempt to restrain, by intimidation of threat of war crime prosecution, any leader from declaring war after being attacked without the blessings of the ICC.
If I'm not mistaken, England has declared it would not be ratifying the court along with the U.S.A....
